At Dr. Al-Akkad’s platform, we do not sell “promises,” nor do we start with pricing or advertising. We begin with what matters most: a proper medical assessment, followed by a responsible treatment decision, and then accompanying the patient step by step—even after returning home.
1. Initial Medical Assessment (Free)
Before any booking or travel, we evaluate the case based on:
Current medical reports (lab tests, imaging, previous surgical reports if available)
Medical history and current medications
The patient’s goals and expectations
A preliminary assessment of whether treatment in Turkey is suitable for the case
Goal: To ensure the patient knows whether they are a suitable candidate before incurring any costs.
2. Treatment Decision: Acceptance or Rejection
After the assessment, one of two clear outcomes occurs:
✅ Acceptance: We propose a logical and appropriate treatment plan
❌ Rejection: If the case is unsuitable, risks outweigh benefits, or better alternatives exist
Rejecting a case is not a loss—it is a cornerstone of safety and trust.
3. Written Treatment Plan
Upon acceptance, the patient receives a written plan that includes:
Treatment objectives
Available options (if any)
Expected length of stay
Pre-travel requirements (tests/examinations)
Key points the patient should know before deciding
4. Financial Transparency (Before Travel)
We clearly explain in advance:
What the financial offer includes
What it does not include
Factors that may affect the cost (if any) and why
When a price reassessment may be needed (e.g., condition differs from reports, or reports are outdated)
5. Medical and Logistical Coordination
If the patient decides to proceed, we coordinate:
Medical appointments
Medical translation when needed
Reception and transportation (depending on the package)
Accommodation (according to the patient’s preference and budget)
A clear schedule from arrival to departure
6. Follow-Up During Treatment
We accompany the patient throughout the treatment journey by:
Ensuring clarity of the plan and procedures
Rapid coordination in case of any changes
Providing documented medical summaries to help the patient understand what was done
Ongoing communication support during recovery when needed
8. Scope of Service and Responsibilities
We act as a medical coordination, supervision, and organizational accompaniment entity. Final diagnosis, definitive treatment plans, and medical procedures remain the responsibility of the treating medical team and hospital after clinical examination in Turkey. We are committed to ensuring that the patient is fully informed of every step before it is carried out.
