Medical Laboratory<\/p>\n

The laboratories department within the hospital or health centers is one of the most important departments that provide service to other departments around the clock and periodically, and are closely linked with them in the performance of their tasks. In order for the laboratory department to perform its functions and tasks effectively and correctly, it must be equipped with the latest technological equipment and means in order to ensure an effective and early diagnosis of the patient’s condition and to provide the appropriate health service as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

In the laboratory department, all kinds of analyzes are performed that help in the diagnosis and accurate identification of the patient’s condition. These tests include: blood, urine, stool, fluids, hormones and many other tests.<\/p>\n

Here is a list of the most important analyzes that are carried out within the laboratory department in hospitals and health centers:<\/p>\n

Blood tests: This type includes several tests, including complete blood analysis (CBC), biochemical analysis (determining the proportion of potassium, calcium, sodium, urea, glucose, chloride, bicarbonate and magnesium), platelet analysis, hemoglobin analysis and other analyzes.<\/p>\n

Urinalysis: Urine is one of the most important fluids that leave the body. A urinalysis may be done as a routine medical evaluation and a specialist may order it when there is pain in the abdomen or flanks.<\/p>\n

Urinalysis helps diagnose infections that affect the digestive system and intestines, as well as helps diagnose cancerous tumors that may affect the digestive system. It also helps diagnose the presence of parasites, as well as assists in diagnosing the absorption of food and sugars. The analysis also helps in identifying problems with urinary tract infection and kidney stones, as well as in diagnosing pregnancy.<\/p>\n

Stool analysis: Stool analysis is one of the most important analyzes conducted in laboratories, as it helps diagnose infections that affect the digestive system and intestines, as well as assists in diagnosing cancerous tumors that may affect the digestive system. Hormonal analyzes: These analyzes are performed for men and women according to the hormones present in the body of each of them.
